This year, I was honored to be selected for the University of Texas, Austin Computer Science Summer Academics Program, facilitated by the Academy for Women. Participating in this week-long residential camp was a remarkable opportunity to delve into the ever-evolving landscape of technology, with a special emphasis on the invaluable contributions of women in the field. Throughout the program, I had the opportunity to delve into the intricacies of C++, explore project management techniques, and hone my teamwork skills, all while gaining a deeper understanding of the diverse array of opportunities available to women in tech.

The immersive experience took place amidst the vibrant atmosphere of the UT campus, where I had the privilege of interacting with fellow high school students, as well as esteemed faculty members and current college students. Together, we engaged in stimulating discussions, collaborated on projects, and gained invaluable insights into the multifaceted world of technology.

It was truly an enriching experience, not just about learning technology, but understanding how innovation intersects with empowerment.
